Cleaning windows is the most exhausting job ever. You clean them and the next second the sun shines thru your windows showing each streak you have created. When I clean windows it basically means I move the dust, grime, bugs and such around. I believe that I have done a good job. When I stand back to take a look at my clean windows I realize it is always much better to call in the pros. I have come to a conclusion that I would not operate on someone because I am really not a surgeon. I’m really not a window cleaner so I should not wash windows.
There is a technique that window washers use that I simply can’t master. I have attempted Windex with paper towel, Windex with paper and a squeegee with soapy water. None of which have produced streak free windows. How is it that execs can get windows so clean and streak free? Speaking with professional window cleaners I have found they follow some explicit tips in cleaning windows making their clients windows crystal clear.
Try these pointers to try and recreate a pro window cleaning job. Or you can do what I am doing and call the executives. I know now that I won’t ever waste my time making an attempt to clean windows myself anymore. Leave what you can’t do well to the pro. That is my new motto.
Tips from Professional Window Cleaners :
Invest in quality materials. Measure your windows and use gear explicit for the scale of your window. Smaller windows need a tiny squeegee and a huge squeegee is required for bigger windows. It’s also crucial to spend the additional money to get quality products. Quality materials will save time and problem during the window cleaning process.
Don’t wash windows in the direct sunlight. The daylight will cause it to dry before you are able to get rid of the cleaning solution causing those dreaded streaks.
If you use disposable hand towel or paper to wipe up left over drip page and your squeegees make sure to keep the materials dry. If the paper towel becomes damp get a newer one.
If you’re employed the squeegee on an angle rather than straight up and down or side to side you’ll be less sure to have streaks on your windows.
Do the interior windows first. Dirt collects on the outside of windows which should leave your cleaning materials soiled. This is why executives always start on the inside.
If you follow all of these steps and still end up with windows that leave you needing better call the pro. Not merely will hiring a pro save you time but also the stress and trouble of doing this complicated job yourself. Executives also take some time to clean the screens. Clean windows with unclean screens leave much to be desired. If you are unable to see out of the window because of filthy screens what is the benefit of having clean windows? Professionals also do a comprehensive job of cleaning the inside of the sill and track which alleviates the probability of windows sticking from the gunk that tends to build up over a period of time.
Cleaning windows is one job I really like to leave to the execs. Finding an expert Santa Ana window cleaning company like Total Perfection Cleaning is the way to go. The additional cost saves both time and stress that will be caused from cleaning the windows on my own. I know the old proverb practice is essential and I am doing accept that in most circumstances this is right. I have tried and tried again and have yet to master the strategy of window cleaning. I have made a decision to leave this up to the professionals. Good luck on your window cleaning journey. If window washing disappointment finds its way into your life do what I am doing and call the pros.
